Govinda Chevallier Edition is a marriage of British heritage, using the Crisp certified heritage Chevallier malt with English Heritage East Kent Goldings Hops. The result is a flavour-packed, high IBU, heritage IPA.
Govinda Chevallier Edition, exhibits a complex mix of malt and hop flavours. Stone fruits dominate early on, with peach and apricot jam aromas and flavour leading to a highly complex bitter finish packed with citrus fruits.
This high IBU IPA is a journey of rediscovery in to the lost flavours from the once popular, now Crisp heritage-certified malt: "Chevallier".
The Chevallier malt is so dominant that it requires a lot of hops (120 IBUs) to balance it, which results in a very long, quite unique finish that keeps on giving.
