Where does the name come from?

We were recently having a debate around “If an alien came to earth and hadn’t heard music before, what song would you play them to show them what popular music was?”
This prompted a research into “the highest selling pop songs of all time” – which brought up the Seekers, the Carnival is Over.

Athol plays Double-Bass in the band, and joins Judith, Keith and Bruce to complete the line-up.
