Beer of the Week - Hopfordian IPA

As you may already know a Stockport native is known as a Stopfordian. Therefore it only seemed right to call our Stockport brewed IPA Hopfordian, as a proud nod to the town it grew up in, and a place that named it there Offical Beer of Stockport Beer Festival 2017.

This IPA is a favourite of many, including myself. The bottle does not prepare you for the explosion of flavours that live within.
This fruity IPA is packed full of American hops such as Cascade, Willamette and Simcoe and has a pleasant malt sweetness with loads of citrus flavours that cling to the pallet all the way through to the end.
When poured the body appears amber with a tint of ruby and is accompanied by a rather dashing creamy white head. Its texture appears thin, but boy is it jam-packed with flavour!
The malt base gives off tones of vanilla with an ever so slightly bitter finish.
For an IPA this one is incredibly sweet and fruity making it the perfect guilty pleasure.
Trust me if you spend a Sunday afternoon sipping this little number then you will find yourself hunting it down week after week.
